Welcome to ReThinkDesigns!

“I believe that recycling can be beautiful - that's why I use recycled and vintage materials for all of my jewelry: found in thrift stores, yard sales, and grandma's jewelry box.”

Creating beautiful things has always been my passion – and I am equally as passionate about caring for the environment. That is why I started making jewelry and accessories with recycled materials. At ReThinkDesigns, my jewelry is built with vintage components that are enhanced with natural elements such as precious gemstones, locally made wooden beads and freshwater pearls. My focus is on one-of-a-kind wire wrapped necklaces, viking-knit bracelets featuring hand-knit wire, and hundreds of earrings – each pair unique. While some of my beads have been purchased in locations around the world, the majority of my supplies are sourced locally, from small shops and local artisans.

I also make beaded accessories other than jewelry: this includes home decor items, wine charms, sun-catchers, bookmarks and key chains. By continuing to expand my repertoire, I can offer something for everyone, at every price range. Recently, I have also expanded into knitting by bringing a modern twist to scarves, cowls, mittens and toques. These items were extremely popular this Christmas at the craft fairs I participated in throughout the Comox Valley, including the juried Christmas Market at the Comox Valley Art Gallery. I was also very successful with my feather earrings and fascinators, by bringing my own style to the popular feather trend.

Please check out Upcoming Fairs for information on where to find my jewelry. The Gallery page offers a selection of jewelry for sale, as well as sold items that can be re-created just for you.
